SS Rajamouli's RRR was in the headlines again, when it won a Golden Globe award for best original song, 'Naatu Naatu' this week.
The historic win was a euphoric moment across the country. As the winning track once again took over playlists, the Jaipur Police shared a drunk driving advisory with a slight twist.
On January 12, the city's police advised citizens against drinking and driving by sharing a still of Jr. NTR and Ram Charan dancing in the song. With some clever wordplay, the cops changed 'Naatu Naatu' to 'NoTo, NoTo, NoTo'. The image now read, 'Say NoTo NoTo NoTo NoTo Drinking while Driving'.
They captioned the photoshopped image as, 'Raising a glass to RRR's Golden Globe win, but let's make sure it's not in our car. Drinking and driving is a serious crime and can have tragic consequences. Celebrate responsibly and make smart choices.'
The twist in the song's lyrics impressed users who praised the creativity of the police department.
"Ye sahi tha," a user wrote.
Another user commented, "Very nice try and very creative."
'Naatu Naatu' is the first ever Asian song to win a Golden Globe. It has been composed by MM Keeravani and sung by Kaala Bhairava and Rahul Sipligunj. The dance-off number features NTR Jr and Ram Charan.
