Foreign Minister S Jaishankar has expressed his displeasure with Congress leader Siddaramaiah for tweeting about the 31 Indians from Karnataka stuck in Sudan due to military clashes.
The minister said he was appalled by Siddaramaiah's tweet and asked him not to politicise the matter. He also added that the former Karnataka chief minister was endangering the lives of Indians in Sudan with his tweet. Jaishankar went on to add that their details and locations cannot be made public for security reasons but the embassy is constantly in touch with the ministry.
'Their movement is constrained by fierce fighting that is ongoing. Plans regarding them have to take into account a very complicated security scenario,' Jaishankar further tweeted.
