Cash, assets worth over Rs 100 crore recovered from Telangana govt official's properties

The Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) in Telangana on Wednesday found cash and assets worth Rs 100 crore during searches on multiple premises linked to a town planning official.

ACB has said that Shiv Balakrishna has been accused of amassing wealth beyond his known means of income. 14 teams searched various properties linked to Balakrishna and his relatives.

According to reports, ₹40 lakh cash, two kilograms of gold jewellery, 60 high-end wristwatches, property documents and bank deposits were recovered during the raids. 14 phones, 10 laptops, and other electronic gadgets have been confiscated from the offcial.
