Woman tries to jump off Delhi metro track, rescued

A woman threatened to jump off an elevated track of the Delhi metro on Monday but swift action by officials ensured her timely rescue. 

According to the CISF, who are investigating the matter, the incident happened at Delhi's Shadipur metro station around 5 pm.

In a 40-second viral video, the woman can be seen standing on the elevated track's sidewall, crossing its boundary and climbing onto the railing. 

A group of officers then approach her quickly. Before she realises they overpower and rescue her. The video also shows that the crowd below kept her engaged till the officers reached her.
