Stating that it was obvious that Manipur police have lost control over the law and order situation, the Supreme Court has said that the cops were incapable of investigation.

Coming down heavily on Manipur police, the Supreme Court said there is absolutely no law and order in the northeastern state.

The Supreme Court said that it wants to know how many accused were named in FIRs, and what action has been taken for their arrest.

The apex court was hearing a plea filed on behalf of the two women who were paraded naked before being sexually assaulted.
