Mumbai Police have recorded the statements of Salman Khan, his father Salim Khan and two others after the actor received a threat letter on Sunday.
The Mumbai Police has said that it has acquired more than 200 CCTV videos and 10 teams of Crime Branch and local police are investigating the matter.
There has been a flurry of activity outside the actor's home in Mumbai since Monday morning with deployment of extra security. Officers of the Crime Branch also visited Salman Khan's residence.
On Sunday, the Khans received a letter saying he would meet the same fate as Punjabi singer Sidhu Moose Wala.
Salim Khan was sitting on a bench at the Bandra Bandstand after a morning walk when an unidentified man kept there a letter which mentioned a threat to kill him and his actor-son.
According to the police, the letter bore the initials LB which is being seen as short for Lawrence Bishnoi, the gangster accused of conspiring to kill Moose Wala.
