At least 10 people were killed on April 23 morning after two military helicopters collided mid-air in Malaysia. The navy in a statement said that the collision happened during a rehearsal for a Royal Malaysian Navy parade.
All 10 were crew members aboard the aircraft involved in the accident, which occurred at the Lumut naval base in the western state of Perak at 9.32 a.m. Tuesday morning (0132 GMT), the navy said.
The incident took place at 09:30 local time (02:30 BST) in the Malaysian town of Lumut, which is home to a navy base.
"All victims were confirmed dead at the scene and sent to the Lumut army base hospital for identification," the navy said.
