Amid rising incidents of weapons being dropped into India by drones from Pakistan, Delhi raised the issue at a United Nations Security Council Open Debate.
Ruchira Kamboj, India's permanent representative to the UN said that such acts are not possible without help of the neighbouring country's government.
Multiple such incidents have been reported from Punjab and Jammu and Kashmir. Many drones have been shot down by Indian security forces.
They are usually found to be carrying weapons or illegal drugs.
