Unnao: Body of nurse found hanging from wall of hospital; owner booked for alleged gangrape, murder

The body of an 18-year-old nurse was found hanging from the wall of a private nursing home in Unnao on Saturday. Reports say Friday was her first day of work.

An FIR has been lodged in the case. The family of the girl named the owner of the hospital and three others, according to reports. 

The owner has been booked for alleged gangrape and murder. 

The deceased was found hanging by a rope from the the outer wall of the building.

There was a mask on her face and she was clutching a piece of cloth in her hand, a report in Hindustan Times quoted additional superintendent of police Shashi Shekhar Singh as having said.

The body of the deceased has been sent for postmortem.  Reports say the hospital had opened just a few days before.
