Iqra Hasan, the 29-year-old winning candidate from Kairana, who fought on the Samajwadi Party ticket, said, "Through this mandate, people have given a reply to BJP."
Slamming the saffron party, she said that people were fed up with BJP's divisive politics and they want to talk about issues like unemployment and inflation.
She further said that this election has strengthened the democrary. Hasan emphasised, "Whoever will form the government, people will have upper hand."
The youngest Muslim MP said, "We are going to sit in the parliament, where there will be diversity of parties."
The 29-year-old also talked about her family and how it was for her when she was entering politics. She said, "During the time, I joined the politics, fake case was egistered against my brother and mother, they were distanced from politics."
Iqra Hasan further said, "I have also struggled but I want to do something good for people and constituency."
