Ahead of the launch of Chandrayaan-3, a team of Indian Space Research Organisation scientists offered prayers at the Tripati Venkatachalapathy temple in Andra Pradesh.
The ISRO team carried a miniature model of Chandrayaan-3 to the revered temple and prayed for the success of the mission.
India's upgraded 'Bahubali' rocket will loft the Chandrayaan-3 satellite towards the moon from the coast of the Bay of Bengal in Andhra Pradesh's Sriharikota.
It is an important experiment to master a soft landing on a celestial body and if all goes well, the third lunar journey will begin on July 14 at 2.35 pm.
