India's soft power was at full display on the sidelines of Shanghai Cooperation Organisation summit in Uzbekistan and External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar couldn't have been prouder.

The minister tweeted a video of a local band singing the song 'Bol Radha Bol' from the 1964 film 'Sangam'. The film featured Raj Kapoor, Vyjayanthimala and Rajendra Kumar in leading roles.

'Another reminder from SCO Tashkent why Central Asia is our extended neighbourhood,' the minister wrote while posting the video.

The SCO is a key economic and security bloc and has emerged as one of the largest transregional international organisations. India and Pakistan became its permanent members in 2017.

The grouping was founded at a summit in Shanghai in 2001 by the presidents of Russia, China, Kyrgyz Republic, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan.
