Many parts of north India witnessed dense fog and biting cold as temperature dipped in the region on 27 December 2022.
Fog blanketed parts of Delhi, Haryana, Punjab and Uttarakhand, while the mercury dropped to sub-zero levels in some parts.
Light snowfall was seen in Jammu and Kashmir's Pahalgam, while Assam's Dibrugarh was hit by a hailstorm.
Rajasthan’s Churu recorded zero degrees Celsius temperature, while parts of Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh and Delhi along with Rajasthan, west Uttar Pradesh and northwest Madhya Pradesh experienced temperatures in the range of 3 to 7 degrees Celsius.
