Amid the ongoing farmers protest, a video of a German tourist supporting the agitation has gone viral on social media.

Seated in large truck, the Germany touring India was asked by protesters in Punjab if he knew about the farmers' agitation.

The tourist gave a witty response saying the same thing is happening in Germany. He said that the farmers are protesting in Germany as well.

Before leaving the spot, the tourist wished good luck to the protesters.

Meanwhile, thousands of protesters remain steadfast at the Punjab-Haryana border in their attempt to reach Delhi.

Heavy security arrangements have been made at the border points to prevent the farmers from reaching Delhi.

The farmers are protesting over various demands, including a legal guarantee for minimum support price or MSP for their crop.
