Watch: netizens hail 80-year-old granny for running marathon for the fifth time

The 18th edition of Tata Mumbai marathon saw participation of an enthusiastic granny aged 80 years old. 

Wearing pink saree and sneakers, Bharti Jitendra Pathak completed her 4.2 km run holding the national flag. The clip from the marathon is gaining wide traction as netizens hail the senior citizen for her spirit.

The viral video was shared by woman's granddaughter Dimple Mehta Fernandes, who was all inspired by her Nani's sheer grit and determination.

Bharti, who completed the run in 51 minutes was running her fifth marathon on January 15. She attributed her fitness secret to daily morning walks.
