Amid congestion and long waiting hours at Delhi airport's terminal 3, passengers are demandinh smoothening of check-in process.
Some passengers complained that the serpantine queues led to them missing their flights.
As per official data, domestic air traffic is on the rise and airlines carried more than 4.18 lakh people on December 12.

In view of high footfall, airlines like Indigo asked passengers to reach at least 3.5 hours prior to domestic departures.
Meanwhile, the Ministry of Civil Aviation has asked airlines to deploy adequate manpower at all check-in and baggage drop counters to ensure smooth flow of passengers.
Earlier in the day, Indigo airlines in a travel advisory asked passengers to reach at least 3.5 hours prior to domestic departures.
To address Delhi airport congestion, authorities on Monday put in place an action plan whereby flights during morning peak hours will be reduced and efforts will also be made to move some flights from Terminal 3.
The advisory also asked the passengers to carry only 1 piece of hand baggaage weighing 7 kgs for a smooth security check, and also ensure their web check-in for added convenience.
