The 44th Chess Olympiad is currently under way in Chennai and various districts to Tamil Nadu have been promoting the tournament in their own unique way.
The Pudukkottai district administration has impressed everyone with over 2-minute video in which classical dancers are playing the role of chess pieces.
The video was first shared by Tamil Nadu chief minister MK Stalin on July 27th and he wrote that the video featured classical, folk, Mal Yutham and Silambam artists.

It has also received praise by businessman Anand Mahindra who praised the officials for bringing chess to life.
The video has now gone viral with people praising the Pudukkottai district administration for depicting Indian tradition and culture.
The 44th Chess Olympiad was inaugurated by the Prime Minister last week and it will go on till August 10.
