Heavy rain in Bengaluru led to waterlogging at a newly-inaugurated Metro station, as per reports.

Social media was flooded with visuals of waterlogging at the Nallurhalli Metro station on 4 April 2023, days after the new Metro stretch was inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Accounts on social media claimed that water had collected on the platform as well as near the ticketing counter.

Phase 2 of Bengaluru Metro, built at a cost of ₹ 4,249 crore, was inaugurated on 25 March 2023.
