Bengal crude bomb blast leaves minor dead, 2 injured

A suspected crude bomb blast in West Bengal's Hooghly district claimed the life of a minor and left two others seriously injured on Monday. The incident occurred at Pandua near a pond where a group of boys were playing.

The incident came a day ahead of the third Lok Sabha election scheduled to take place on Tuesday. Four constituencies are going to polls. 

Maldaha Uttar, Maldaha Dakshin, Jangipur, and Murshidabad is going to polls in the third phase on May 7. A total of 73,37,651 voters, including 36,12,395 women and 154 third-genders, are eligible to exercise their franchise in 7,360 polling stations.
