As the pollution levels rose significantly in the national capital region on November 3, Delhi Environment Minister Gopal Rai slammed the Centre for it.
Rai asked where is Union Environment Minister Bhupender Yadav and whether the BJP does not hold any responsibility for the situation. He appealed to the central minister to become active.
Alleging that Delhi holds maximum pollutants from the neighbouring states, Rai said the AAP government has already taken steps to combat the situation by restricting polluting vehicles and construction work.
