Simply wanting to share a video of herself learning to drive, a woman rode a car off a steep cliff in Maharashtra. The 23-year-old was seen slowly reversing a sedan while her friend was capturing the moment while they were on vacation.
Accidentally pressing the accelerator instead of the brake, the woman fell down 300 feet into a gorge in Maharashtra. She reportedly died after falling off the cliff.
The incident happened in Maharashtra’s Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar on Monday afternoon, according to the police. The woman, identified as Shweta Deepak Survase, was on a vacation with her friend.
Survase's friend Suraj Sanjau Mule can be heard shouting "clutch, clutch, clutch" as the car accelerates towards the cliff.
Law enforcement officials at the scene reached the site and rushed Survase to the hospital, where she was declared dead. The vehicle was found in a wrecked condition down the 300-feet gorge.
