'India's biggest dialysis facility' launched by DSGMC in Delhi

The Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee launched what it is being dubbed as 'India's biggest kidney dialysis facility' in Delhi on Sunday, to provide treatment free of cost. The facility has 101 beds and can simultaneously look after 500 people on a daily basis, a PTI report said. The high-tech facility located at Gurdwara Bala Sahib, has no billing counter. It will take services from CSR from corporate houses and other donations. From the current capacity of 101 beds, they aim to increase it to 1000 beds soon. Food for the patients and their families will also be free of charge, the report added.
