The number of Covid-19 recoveries in the country has crossed 51 lakh, the health ministry has said. The govt added that it is the highest number of recoveries from the contagion in the world. India took 57 days to go from one lakh to 10 lakh recoveries, union health secretary Rajesh Bhushan said on Tuesday. However, he added that the last 10 lakh recoveries were recorded in just 11 days. India has for the last many days consistently seen more recoveries that daily new cases.
