After delaying the tour for a week over new Covid-19 variant concerns, Cricket South Africa has announced the updated schedule for the India series on Monday. Team India will now start their tour with the boxing day Test at Centurion on December 26.
The teams will then move to Johannesburg, where the second Test starts on January 3 next year. While Cape Town will host the third and last Test from January 11.
As announced last week, T20Is won't be part of India's tour and now the tour will end with three-match ODI series. The first two ODIs of the series will be played at Boland Park, Paarl on January 19 and 21 respectively. The teams then again move to Cape Town for the last ODI, which is scheduled to take place on January 23.
