Another feather in the cap for the Indian Railways! The Chittaranjan Locomotives Works, a locomotive manufacturing factory set the world record for the highest production in the year 2018-2019. Recognised by the Limca Book of Records, they produced 402 electrical locomotives in that financial year and bagged the title of the 'most locomotives in a year'. It surpassed its own previous record of 350 locomotives in the year 2017-2018. As of 31st January, the CLW has manufactured 350 locomotives in this year already.
