A report by Bloomberg News states that Apple may have to cut production for the iPhone 13 series by 10 million units due to the global chip shortage.

Apple had projected manufacturing 90 million units for the iPhone 13 series by the end of 2021, but now the company may not reach its target due to chip supply concerns.

Apple has also faced difficulties in manufacturing Macs and iPads due to the shortage.

However, market research firm Counterpoint told Bloomberg that iPhone 13 series sales continue to be higher than the iPhone 12, and the firm is not changing its sales estimate of 85 million to 90 million units sold for this year.
