CSK vs PBKS, IPL 2021: Chennai Super Kings will look to continue their quest for a top 2 finish as MS Dhoni's men take on a limping Punjab Kings on the penultimate day of league matches in IPL 2021 in Dubai on Thursday.

With 9 wins in 13 games, CSK sits on the second spot of the points table and was the first team to qualify for the playoffs this season. On the other hand, Punjab occupies the sixth position on the points table with just 5 wins in 13 matches. While Chennai lost 2 consecutive games, Punjab lost its previous match but still have an outside chance of making it to the playoffs.

In a head-to-head comparison, Chennai has a dominant history against Punjab as Dhoni’s men have won 15 times in 24 matches. Chennai also beat PBKS in the India-leg earlier this year.
