IPL 2021, DC beat SRH, Delhi beat Hyderabad:
It seems that the Sun might have finally set for Hyderabad as Delhi Capitals thrashed SRH by 8 wickets on Wednesday to hand them their 7th loss in 8 games.
Kane Williamson's decision to bat first proved to be a wrong call as SRH lost both openers with just 29 runs on the board. As dot balls began to rise, Hyderabad crumbled under pressure and could manage just 134/9.
Delhi lost Prithvi Shaw early on but Shikhar Dhawan took on the bowlers and scored 42. Shreyas Iyer, who returned to the squad after injury impressed with 47 but it was Rishabh Pant's quick 21-ball-35* that sealed a comfortable win for Delhi. With its 7th win from 9 games, Delhi regained top spot on the points table.
