IPL 2021, IPL Qualifier 1, CSK beat DC,
Chennai Super Kings (CSK) might have beaten the Delhi Capitals by 4 wickets on Sunday night to enter IPL 2021 finals, but it was MS Dhoni who stole the show.
Put into bat, Delhi was off to a flayer, courtesy Prithvi Shaw's 34-ball-60. Rishabh Pant's fiery fifty then helped his side finish at 172/5. Chasing which, CSK lost Faf du Plessis for just 1. But Robin Uthappa counter attacked and smashed 63, his best score in an IPL playoff. Ruturaj Gaikwad continued to impress and scored 70. But it was Dhoni's finish which stole Delhi's thunder. Mahi rolled back the clock and smashed an unbeaten 6-ball-18 to power CSK into the final.
All is not lost for Delhi as they will get another chance to make it to the final when they take on the winner of the Eliminator.
