IPL 2021 Qualifier 2, KKR beat DC, KKR enter final: Not many would have given KKR a chance to qualify for IPL 2021 playoffs after the India-leg but Eoin Morgan's men did the unthinkable as they avoided a scare to enter the final by edging out Delhi Capitals (DC) by 3 wickets on Wednesday night.

Opting to bowl first in Qualifier 2, KKR bowlers once again choked DC batters on a slow Sharjah wicket and restricted Delhi to 135/5. Chasing which, KKR were off to a dream start. Openers stitched together a 96-run start with Venkatesh Iyer smashing 55 and Shubman Gill scoring 46. But then the match turned on its head. KKR lost 6 wickets for 7 runs and the equation boiled down to 6 needed off the last 2 balls. Rahul Tripathi kept his cool and smashed a six to carry KKR over the finish line.

On back of 4 consecutive wins, Kolkata has entered its 3rd IPL final and have staged a final showdown against the Chennai Super Kings.
