Virat Kohli's RCB on Sunday became the 3rd team to seal a playoffs berth in IPL 2021 as they beat Punjab Kings (PBKS) by 6 runs.

Batting first, Glen Maxwell powered RCB to 164/7 courtesy of a fiery half century. Punjab were off to a solid start like on most occasions as KL Rahul and Mayank Agarwal put together a 91-run opening stand. But once again, their batting fell flat after those two departed. Yuzvendra Chahal spun his web of destruction and with 3 wickets, restricted Punjab to 158/6.

Though Punjab are still alive in the tournament, but with only one playoffs spot up for grabs, it will be an uphill task for them.
