Shane Watson was an integral part of the 2008 IPL Winning team of Rajsthan Royals under the captaincy of Shane Warne. He then went on to play for Royal Challengers Bangalore and also the Chennai Super Kings. Watto was instrumental in helping MS Dhoni's Chennai in the 2019 season and retired from the game after the IPL 2022.
Watson is an IPL veteran with 3874 runs from 145 matches including 4 centuries in his 13-year-long stint in the league. He also has 92 wickets and was one of the best all-rounders to play in the IPL.
A good move by Delhi Capitals who reached the final of IPL 2020 & the playoffs in 2021. Rishabh Pant will continue to lead the side this season as they start their campaign against the 5-time Champions Mumbai Indians on March 27.
