Here are some terms you should know as a Kpop stan!

Bias: your favourite member in a group, you can also have an ult bias who is your favourite among the many groups you Stan

Bias Wrecker: your second favourite, who comes in to wreck your bias. 

OTx : stands for one true and usually represents the number of members in a group. So if you stan BTS then it’s OT7, EXO is OT9, Blackpink is OT4

Saranghe: love you

Aegyo : doing something cutely or being cute

Debut : the first time a group or artist is presented to the public. Comes with the release of an album/single. 

Comeback: every time an artist or group releases music is a comeback. That could be an album, a single, an EP, a mini album. Many groups have multiple comebacks in a year. 

Fan Chants: it’s a way for you to cheer for your group. Companies will release a cheering guide or Fanchant for the songs that the artists release and it usually includes the members names, a tagline of the group and group name. 

Daesang: the biggest award that award shows give out, usually it’s artist, song, album and performance of the year. 

And finally fighting!: fighting is a wish! Can be used to replace good luck or you can do it!
