Editorji, TERI and UNDP's campaign on water conservation takes a deep dive into rainwater harvesting with G Asok Kumar, the director of the National Water Mission.  Kumar insisted on the fact that there is a need for communities across the nation to take ownership of their own water needs and supply. The National Water Mission has launched a program called “Catch The Rain” with the tagline “Catch the rain, where it falls, when it falls” is to nudge the states and stakeholders to create appropriate Rain Water Harvesting Structures (RWHS) suitable to the climatic conditions and sub-soil strata before monsoon.
