JEE (Mains) to be held 4 times to help students: minister

The JEE (Mains) exam will be conducted in four sessions spread over four consecutive months, Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank announced on Wednesday. The minister added that the new system will offer students the flexibility to appear in the exam and a chance to improve their scores later. The first edition of the exam will be conducted under the new system from February 23 to 26, followed by rounds in March, April and May. The National Testing Agency, which is the nodal body that conducts the engineering and medical entrance exams, has decided to conduct the JEE in 13 languages.
