Kanhaiya Kumar to join Congress? Buzz grows as youth leader meets Rahul Gandhi

Kanhaiya Kumar, the CPI leader & former JNU students union president, could be preparing grounds for his entry into the Congress as he met with Rahul Gandhi.

Sources close to Kumar said he was "feeling suffocated in the CPI"  Indian Express reported . He met Rahul Gandhi on Tuesday and the two have discussed Kanhaiya's entry into the Congress as per unconfirmed reports. 

Kumar, who is famous for his oratory skills, could play a key role in Bihar politics for the Congress party. Reports also indicated that Gujarat MLA Jignesh Mevani is also keen to join the Congress leadership.
