Karan Johar tests negative, takes a jab at reports calling his home a 'Covid hotspot'

Clarifying the rumours around his house being called a 'Covid hotspot', Karan Johar took to Instagram to share that he and his family have tested negative for Covid-19. 

In his post, Karan also added that an eight people gathering is not a 'party'.

“My family and I and everyone at home have done their RTPCR tests and with the grace of god we are all negative! In fact, I tested twice just to be safe and am negative. I truly appreciate the grandest efforts of the BMC to ensure the safety of our city. Salute to them,” Karan wrote. 

Requesting the media to excerise restraint in their extreme reportage, Karan requested to them to assess facts before reporting anything.

The BMC (Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation) has prepared the list of guests who were present at Karan's dinner party and their immediate contacts in the last one week and will test all of them.
