Karnataka: Muslim man stabbed for travelling with Hindu friend

A 23-year-old Muslim man was beaten and stabbed by a group of Hindu right-wing activists allegedly for travelling with a Hindu woman in a bus in coastal Karnataka’s Dakshina Kannada district on Thursday, police said. The victim, Anwar Mohammed, is admitted in a private and his condition is said to be serious. According to reports, a bunch of men stopped the bus they were travelling in and beat and stabbed Mohammed, who was travelling with his friend. Police said that four persons have been arrested in connection with the attack.
