Kashmiri Saffron, with its GI tag, enters UAE markets

Kashmiri Saffron, with its Geographical Indication tag, is making a mark beyond India. The spice was recently unveiled in the markets of UAE, during a two day UAE-India Food Security Summit 2020. It was launched by J&K's Principal Agriculture Secretary Navin K Choudhary and Consul General of India (CGI) in Dubai, Aman Puri at Al Maya Group, one of the biggest retail chains.
