Maldives police on Sunday said they have arrested the third man believed to be the prime suspect in an explosion that critically wounded the country's former president, Mohamed Nasheed.
Nasheed, the democracy pioneer and climate activist was seriously hurt after a bomb attack in the capital Male on Thursday night. He is recovering at a hospital after multiple surgeries.
Police have blamed 'religious extremists' for the explosion in which a British national and two others were also injured.
