Bengal CM and Trinamool Congress chief Mamata Banerjee on Wednesday filed her nomination papers for the Bengal assembly election from Nandigram. Mamata was greeted with TMC’s election catchphrase 'Khela Hobe' as she walked through Nandigram to file her nomination papers. Before filing the papers, Mamata offered prayers at a Shiv temple in Nandigram. The voting in Nandigram will take place on April 1, in the second of the eight phases of polling in West Bengal. In the constituency she will be up against former top aide Subhendu Adhikari from the BJP.
