Kids cooped up: 'school in the age of pandemic in Iran'

Acing social distancing without any masks, Iranian kids have finally returned to school and how. With strict health protocols in place, over 15 million students attended classes after a break of 7 months in Iran. Images of little kids cooped up in transparent plastic tents shared by Journalist Farnaz Fassihi have gone viral on social media. Fassihi's tweet read, 'school in the age of pandemic in Iran'. While many are calling the innovation, 'cute', and a 'thoughtful step', some have completely denounced it, raising serious health concerns. Iran which is one of the worst-hit Covid countries in the middle east has over 3,84,000 confirmed infections.
