After weeks of skepticism around her Saturday Night Live debut, it’s safe to say that Kim — who has spent years avoiding any form of live public performance due to her fear of embarrassing herself — surprised fans with her unexpectedly controversial jokes and hilarious sketches.
It was the reality star and entrepreneur’s first time on the show—and needless to say, she broke the internet once again.
This time, with her savage opening monologue, which was more of a roast, the comedic jabs at herself, the whole Kardashian family, her hilariously awkward dance moves and more.
But Kim’s eyebrow-raising jokes didn’t stop there. She went on to make jabs about her sisters’ surgeries, Caitlyn Jenner, and her estranged husband, Kanye West.
Following the monologue, Kardashian continued her strong SNL debut by being Judge Kourtney Kardashian in The People’s Kourt.
She was also our very own Princess Jasmine with Pete Davidson as Aladdin, riding away on a magical carpet.
Kim was also in a Bachelorette-type show about to make her selection for the next round. The contestants were Jesse Williams, John Cena, Chris Rock, Tyler Cameron, Chace Crawford, Blake Griffin, and Kyle Mooney.
According to reports, Kim enlisted the help of Dave Chappelle, Ellen DeGeneres, Amy Schumer, James Corden, and my former improv classmate Michelle Wolf for her SNL hosting gig.
Both fans and nay-sayers alike were surprised at Kardashian’s comedic chops, so much so that the hashtag #KKWonSNL began trending on Twitter.
