German worker union has called for a strike at six main Amazon sites in Germany ahead of Easter, reports Reuters.

The workers' union in Germany wants to use the strike to get e-commerce giant Amazon to renegotiate wage policy.

The union is demanding a pay increase of 4.5% for workers in the retail and mail order industry and expects Bezos backed Amazon to agree as it has been a year of record earning for the company
