During the Quit India Movement, Usha Mehta played a crucial role in underground resistance against the British Raj. She worked closely with other prominent figures like Jayaprakash Narayan and Ram Manohar Lohia to establish the "Congress Radio," also known as the "Secret Congress Radio."
