Blame your phone for your compulsive shopping behaviour

Are you nomophobic or in simple words, just can't leave your phone alone? If yes, then be careful as a new study suggests it might lead to compulsive shopping behaviour. 

Published in Computers in Human Behavior, the research investigated the impact of smartphones on consumers' spending habits. The findings were based on a survey of more than 250 participants belonging to Generation Z. 

Researchers found that 90% of consumers, especially youngsters are encouraged to buy things through online ads. And, spending more time on the phone may automatically lead to shopping compulsively.
