Actor Deepika Padukone never misses an opportunity to captivate hearts with her beauty. Recently, she shared a DIY face mask that is an integral part of her skincare routine.

Deepika stated that her favourite DIY face pack involves classic ingredients like besan (gram flour), haldi (turmeric) and malai (cream) which has been cherished by Indians for centuries. This face pack is her go-to solution for pigmentation and tanning.

Taking this ahead, dermatologist Geetika Mittal shared that natural ingredients hold the key to achieving radiant skin and ingredients like besan and turmeric help in skin exfoliation and prevent your skin from acne, dark spots and uneven skin tone.

Why this DIY mask is must try

Gram flour (Besan): Gram flour aids in exfoliating the skin by delicately eliminating dead skin cells, unclogging pores, and revealing a fresh complexion.

Turmeric powder (Haldi): Turmeric is renowned for its anti-inflammatory and brightening qualities, effectively addressing acne, diminishing dark spots, and promoting even skin tone.

Cream (Malai): Cream provides essential hydration and nourishment for your skin, sealing in moisture to leave it feeling luxuriously soft and supple.

Rosewater/Plain water (Optional): Optionally, a few drops of rosewater or plain water can be incorporated to attain the desired consistency.

How to make this face pack

Take 2 tablespoons of gram flour (besan) 1/2 tsp turmeric powder (haldi) and 1-2 tbsp of cream (malai) and a few frops of rosewater. Mix them all together to make a thick paste, apply it for 15-20 minutes and rinse it with cold water.

Use this face pack twice a week for good results.
