As the Met Gala red carpet is about to unfurl, fashion enthusiasts are excited to catch a glimpse of their favourite celebrities. Bollywood star Alia Bhatt is currently making headlines as she arrives in New York City to attend the Met Gala event for the second time.

Alia Bhatt is likely to wear a Gucci-inspired saree

According to reports, Alia Bhatt is likely to wear a Gucci-inspired saree that blends Indian and Western elements.

Once speaking to Elle US, the actor had stated that to her, a chiffon saree is even more comfortable than jeans and a T-shirt. She had further added, whoever invented the saree was a genius; it’s perfect for the weather in India because it’s airy and light, and you feel like you’re enveloped by a cloud. Your mood can go from zero to hero the minute you put one on.

Fans can't stop anticipating and waiting eagerly to see what Alia picks for the biggest night of fashion.

Alia Bhatt wore Prabal Gurung last year

Last year, the actor made a smashing debut appearance at the Gala in a pearl white gown designed by Prabal Gurung.
