Love papad but not the oil? No worries! Chef Pankaj Bhadouria has a clever trick for frying papad without using oil.

How to fry papad without oil:

Simply replace oil with salt in a pan. Heat the salt, then place the papad inside, flipping it on both sides until it's crispy. Make sure the papad is covered with salt for even cooking. You can also use this method for fries and chips, letting you enjoy them guilt-free.

Side effects of eating oily food

Weight Gain: Oily foods are often high in calories and fats, which can contribute to weight gain if consumed in excess.

Digestive Issues: Eating oily foods can lead to digestive discomfort, including bloating, gas, and indigestion, especially if the oils are heavy or difficult to digest.

Increased Cholesterol Levels: Consuming foods high in unhealthy fats, such as saturated and trans fats found in oily foods, can raise cholesterol levels and increase the risk of heart disease.

Acne and Skin Problems: Excessive consumption of oily foods may exacerbate acne and other skin conditions due to the production of excess sebum in the skin.

Increased Risk of Chronic Diseases: Diets high in oily foods have been associated with an increased risk of chronic diseases such as type 2 diabetes, hypertension, and certain cancers.
Nutritional Deficiencies: Oily foods may displace healthier options from the diet, leading to potential deficiencies in essential nutrients like vitamins, minerals, and fiber.
