A study published in the British Journal of Nutrition stated that consuming kiwi can enhance one's mood within just four days. According to researchers in New Zealand eating these fuzzy fruits could enhance both your vitality and mood.

How the study was done

The study Co-author said that It’s great for people to know that small changes in their diet, like adding kiwifruit, could make a difference in how they feel every day”. The research was conducted on 155 adults with deficient levels of vitamin C. For eight weeks straight, the people in the study were given either, a 250mg vitamin C pill, or two kiwi fruits every day. Then, they had to tell the researchers how they felt about their energy, mood, sleep, and activity.

Researchers found that both the vitamin C group and the kiwi eaters reported improved moods, but only the latter group said they felt an increase in self-perceived success.
